OUR STORY
Training and equipping future ministers in Germany.
About Daniel
Over the past couple of years, Daniel and Rebecca have had a growing interest in multi-cultural ministry and missions, but when they heard about the vision and ministry of Kontaktmission USA their calling began to take shape. Through the opportunity to be a part of this organization, God has been clarifying their vision for what He is preparing for them to do.
Early on in Daniel’s pastoral ministry, working with youth for several years, Daniel knew he would need more theological training to prepare for what God was laying on his heart. He had come to realize that one of the keys to the advancement of the Kingdom of God in Germany is teaching and training young people for ministry, and to do that he needed to be trained. This led Daniel to pursue his studies at Bonn Bible Seminary in Bonn Germany, where he earned a B.A. in Theology in 2008 and an M.A. in Theology in 2010.
Daniel’s ministry in the church benefited greatly from his studies and in 2009 he became passionate about teaching the Old Testament. He desired to help others to understand this often neglected and difficult part of the Bible. Daniel’s passion for the Old Testament and his desire to study in a different cultural environment led him to pursue further degrees at the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. He graduated in 2015 (Th.M. in Old Testament) and is currently working on his Doctor of Philosophy at the same institution.
During his ministry and his studies, Daniel realized the importance of the Old Testament for Christians and the church and the impact it has on the advancement of the Kingdom of God. Daniel loves to equip students for their own ministry so that they are able to preach and teach the Bible wherever they may serve. His special interests in the Old Testament include the book of Genesis, the book of Jeremiah, the history of Israel, and the biblical languages.
